I’m happy to announce that book 5 of the Pax Humana Saga, The Emperor’s Shadow, is now live on Amazon! Go grab it while it’s hot!

This was the first science fiction series I ever wrote, starting it in the spring of 2014. Originally planned to be a long series of over 10 books (15? 20?), it fell by the wayside in the wake of the success of Constitution and the Legacy Fleet series. Now, 12 years later, I decided it was time to return and finish it. Book 6, The Heir of Humanity, is well underway, and I plan on it and the final, Book 7: Pax Humana, to both be published before the summer is over.
And what’s next? Over the years I’ve started and stopped many novels, all now in various stages of completion. Earlier this year I reopened some of them and made significant progress. One of them has been an absolute blast to write, as it has more of a comical tone than my usual pew! pew! pew! novels. I think I laughed more writing it than I have in awhile, and I hope that means you will too. Look for that (still haven’t decided on the name!) this summer as well.
